Nice, stripped down, guitar-based, mostly instrumental and rather low-key Venezuelan progressive rock album that was recorded in 1978, but never released until now. Bonus tracks come from 1976. Julio was the guitarist of Materia Gris. This album also features keyboards by Carlos Cutaia (of La Maquina de Hacer Pajeros and drummer Carlos Riganti (also of Materia Gris). The stripped down guitar-approach sound reminds me a bit of early Sensations Fix minus the electronics.
"What's totally awesome and baffling about this album is its style, detached from the classic sounds of the South American prog mainstream, though never relinquishing its roots. Sonically related perhaps to acts such as Kerrs Pink, Camel and Mike Oldfield."
