This fine, nearly instrumental work is by Norwegian drummer / keyboardist / composer Arild Brøter, and he is joined by 4-7 additional musicians on each track who contribute additional keyboards, saxes, guitars, bass, etc.
Pymlico sounds like a cross between soundtrack music and somewhat spacey symphonic rock, with a big dose of Mike Oldfield there as well.
