Quicksilver Messenger Service - Live At The Fillmore Auditorium, San Francisco, 6th February 1967 (Mega Blowout Sale)

“This is the highly charged early version of the band, jamming and playing good rhythm & blues with a psych twist - John Cippolina, Gary Duncan, Greg Elmore, one of the greatest rock voices in David Freiberg, and the soon to depart Jimmy Murray. Not a bad QMS live archive live recording overall.
The sound quality is hardly pristine, although it is presented in quite listenable mono, and the two guitars of Cipollina and Duncan are clear in the mix. However, there is nothing wrong with the sound quality or performance on this or the other Fillmore show in the series and are excellent quality, if somewhat raw, soundboard recordings taken from the master reels sourced from promoter Bill Graham's personal archive.”
