R.M.I. are an English trio of guitar and two keyboardists. They have been working together since the early 1980's and releasing CDs since at least 1994 and have at least 15 releases out! R.M.I. play space music hugely influenced by the German masters of the 1970's, most notably Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze, but with their distinctively own sound as well. If you enjoy that sound, I can not think of anyone else doing this as well these days, so if you love this stuff, this is highly recommended! This was recorded in Tapiola, Finland, 1/31/04, about 5 months before I saw them play! Having been to Finland, I can assure you that in January, you really *can* "walk on the sea!
