Ramo - Ramo

I don't know much about this Brazilian group, but here is what I do know. They are apparently huge fans of Hermeto Pascoal and Egberto Gismonti (good taste!) and they are playing a wonderfully atmospheric music that is influenced by them, but has a lot of originality as well. The group consists of Daniel Pantoja (flutes), Felipe José (cello), Andre Rocha (guitar and 8-string guitar) Rafael Martini (piano), Frederico Heliodoro (double bass) & Antonio Loureiro (drums). This is just splendid music; lyrical, playful, atmospheric and performed by great players. But you don't have to take my word for it; you can hear their music here
