I had the chance to see this guitar/bass/drums trio earlier in 2006 and they were pretty good, but they weren't nearly as good as their albums, which combine aspects of what you would expect from Tzadik's Radical Jewish Culture series with an out, Americana/surf-rock sound that really is reminiscent of nobody other than Forever Einstein in a more 'jamming' style. Really, really excellent power trio stuff. This is their third album and their best so far, I think! Recommmended!
