Second solo album by accordionist Ted Reichman (Claudia Quintet), on which he plays everything EXCEPT accordion (he plays piano, pump organ, electric guitar, electronics, bass and percussion) and he is joined here by guitarist Mary Halvorson (Anthony Braxton) and drummer John Hollenbeck (Mr Claudia to you!). This is instrumental rock music that reminds me a bit of the things that AYAA used to release (Klimperei, Look De Bouk, etc.); rock music that doesn't really 'rock', but that combines simple melodies, a sly humor and more. Not really what I expected, but really nice and recommended!
