Very groovy, archival release of the early Renaissance (Keith and Jane Relf-era), live at the Fillmore in 1970. For a 45 year old unreleased tape, the sound is more than fine and this is essential for the fans of this short-lived band.
"Live archival release. After returning from the final Yardbirds USA tour in the late 60's singer Keith Relf and drummer Jim McCarty formed Renaissance with Keith's sister Jane Relf and played numerous gigs in UK and Sweden before embarking on a USA tour in the early 70's.
Recorded live at The Fillmore West on 6th March 1970, the band was supporting The Paul Butterfield Blues Band on the night."
