This is a reissue of the Japanese limited edition release. This documents the current edition of Samlas, which features Lars Hollmer-accordion/keyboards/vocals, Coste Apetrea-guitar, Lars Kranz-bass and Tatsuya Yoshihida-drums/vocals. Dear Mamma is the only available document of the current version of the band. This is live from Uppsala, Sweden 5/16/02 and this reissue takes off the two tracks of Coste/Lars/Ruins and adds 8 never-released extra tracks by the band at La Mama, Shibuya, Tokyo 9/29/02. Both shows are great, but this is not a professional recording, and sounds like a good bootleg. Speaking of bootleg, this uses the exact same artwork and adds a small sticker to tell you that this has those extra 8 tracks! Includes a typically great Samlasian cover by Tage Asen. Note that track five has what SOUNDS like digital errors, but is, I am told, Lars mucking about with his digital synth and making funny noises.
