"Sans Serif is a soundscape-oriented side project that was inspired by the harmonic drones of La Monte Young. It is an attempt to present a "horizontal" music in the form of drone that is constantly shifting its position in aural space. The pieces are based on sonic fragments (some are abstract sounds from instruments such as the Marxolin, others are fragments of unreleased pieces) that have been altered and processed through different sets of harmonic filters."-Forrest Fang
