This is a fantastic album. Leaving Zao after recording their Osirus album, pianist/saxist Yochk'o formed a hot trio with Dominique Bertram-bass and Francois Laizeau-drums. But, he rememebered the great work that Margand String Quartet brought to Osiris, so he invited them on board for the recording of this, his greatest solo work. Hot zeuhl fusion, with the rhythm section smoking and supporting Yochk'o's electronic grand piano and sax work, with perfectly timed interjections from the string quartet. A must! Also included is over 20' of material recorded for a never released follow up, which appeared on the previous issue of this, as well as another bonus track which is exclusive to this release. A Zeuhl/fusion must-own, if you don't already own the out of print Musea version!
