Siloah - Surkram Gurk (expanded) vinyl lp (due to size and weight, this price for the USA only. Outside of the USA, the price will be adjusted as needed)

SKU 18-GOD 033LP
Typically thorough and well done Garden of Delights release of an exceedingly obscure and rare stoner folk album from 1972, with a history of the band, rare photos and documentation and more. Not to mention a bonus track!
Devastatingly loose and vibed up, the two Siloah albums are amongst the most cracked of all early 70s German output! First-ever vinyl reissue! Adding keyboards and a more professional air, this still retains a lot of the completely tripped out vibe of their first album.

"Second album (1972) finds the commune dwellers moving out of their farmhouse away from pastoral settings, buying an organ, and going for an Atomic Rooster sort of sound; different musicians equals different style, as the new music was dominated by frantic organ sounds; the result was another underground classic—primitive and rambling, and resembling US sixties punk more than anything; ‘Magic Carpet Ride to the Alps’ and ‘Feast of the Pickpockets’ stand out, but the whole album is pretty hard to ignore if you like psychedelia. Limited to 1000 hand-numbered copies."
