This previously unreleased, very high quality recording, made for a college radio station highlights two masters working together. Wadada moves around to a few instruments beyond his usual trumpet (he even, very charmingly, sings a little bit!) and the fact he does so, along with the great Ed Blackwell leads to favorable comparisons with Ed and Don Cherry's classic Mu session. Low key but still intense and an utter winner! Highly recommended.
