A great price on a great album of solo acoustic guitar music. I had never heard of Sparks until his first on Tzadik, but he's actually had a fairly lengthy career, studying classical guitar, Portugese and Eastern European music, playing in R 'n' B bands, vintage-styled jazz bands, Persian bands and klezmer bands, among others. This album is from 1999 and if you are a fan of Americana guitar (156 Strings, Jack Rose, John Fahey, etc.) this will utterly charm you as it did me. Conditionally highly recommended!
