This is the remastered, Super Bit Mapping "Definitive Edition" of this album. Brief history. Tangerine Dream were one of the earliest all electronic/synthesizer bands, and are one of the keystones of the hugely acclaimed Berlin scene of the 1970's. They released a lot of records, and a lot of pretty awful records, but their great work, of which this is one, is fantastic. This 1977 album was their ninth release and was recorded March and April on their premier US tour. Wow! I was there with my pals Barney and Ernie of Mars Everywhere at Lisner Auditorium in DC (the 1st track on the album is taken at least partially from the show I saw).
