Tangle Edge - Dropouts 2 x CDs

When Tangle Edge first emerged - seemingly out of nowhere - with "In Search of a New Dawn", their first album in 1988, they had already been a band for about 8 years and had released a number of cassette releases. Dropouts is their earliest material to be available on CD; I'm not sure if it is a reissue of very early cassette releases or previously unreleased material, but basically, you can be assured that you don't have this material already. The band at this point consisted of: Ronald Nygard-electric guitar, e-bow, rhythm machine, percussion, Hassie Horrigmoe-bass guitar, penny whistle, bells, Tom Steinberg-drums, rhythm machine, ring modulator, voice. You can hear the sound that they are most famous for, but in a more embryonic form.
