Thus is Baltimore instrument-maker Neil Feather and Baltimore multi-instrumentalist John Berndt (here taking a cue from Neil and helping to design and build the instruments. Instrumentation used includes Nondo, Vibro-Wheel Array, Guitaint, Ultra Hodge and, of course, the Melocipede! I've seen these guys and a big part of the fun and you don't get that on a CD, of course (although there is a good photo of Neil with a bunch of his instruments on the back cover), but even without the visuals, this is a good album of weirdly complelling improvised sounds, noises and even melodies.
