After Zao, Transit Express were probably the best known fusion band in France. Their albums were released on CD once in the 1990s exclusively for the Japanese market in a very limited edition and have been out of print since that time. Now they are available again in really deluxe, limited edition, SHM-remastered, mini-lp sleeves, with never-before heard bonus tracks, that were recorded in 1975, just before this album was recorded! This includes 2 bonus tracks!
Priglacit was their first album, & features Serge Peranthoner-electric & acoustic pianos & synths, Christian Leroux-guitars, Jean-Claude Guselli-bass, Dominique Bouvier- drums. The music is quite comparable to a French verson of Brand X at their early best, or Nova's Vimana. Definitely a progressive fusion classic from the mid 70's
