This is the first album by this Italian progressive rock + quartet, consisting of two guitarists, keyboards and drums. "The Trains to Alba" have a sound that is a blend of electric and acoustic guitarwork and lots of piano. There's a lot of understated intricacy - maybe because it isn't all electric work - and a lot of taste here. Very excellent and unusual and intelligent. Highly recommended.
