Anyone who has ever asked me "who are some of your musicial heroes?" has had to listen to me prattle on about Lennie Tristano. So, I'll spare you. This is from his last European concert tour. Recorded 10/31/65, it's a solo piano recital, which isn't the best way to learn about him, imo, but this is the only moving footage that I've ever seen (possibly all that exists, actually), and it's 40' of excellent quality black and white footage. So, amazing for me and conditionally recommended to you!
