Good god, this was unexpected. The real VDGG reformed and back, at least for now, with David Jackson, Hugh Banton, Peter Hammill and Guy Evans. More than three decades later, they don't sound like hellhounds are on their tail quite as horrifyingly as in the past, but it's really them and it even sounds like them. They've picked up more where they left off in terms of sounding more like the Godbluff band than the H to HE band (not really surprising).
