Don't let the name fool you; VEBB were not a blues band.

"Ville Emard Blues Band was literally the biggest rock band ever to emerge on the Canadian music scene with some 25 of Quebecs best progressive rock musicians including members of Toubabou, Contraction, Harmonium and Robert Charlebois band, all playing on stage at once! VEBB was the most popular group in Quebec in 1974, and was the first Quebec group to headline the Montreal Forum. VEBB was nominated as Most Promising New Group at Canadas Juno Awards in 1975, a category won by Rush. VEBB is performing a 30th anniversary reunion show on July 18 2004 at Le Festival dEte in Quebec City on the Plains of Abraham. This 2 CD set is a remastered collection of all of the compositions released between 1973 and 1975 by this supergroup from Quebec. VEBBs music is a mix of progressive jazz/fusion, rock, and funk."
