Excellent, modern, fusion from some two known rock names: Danny Carey (drummer for Tool) and John Ziegler (guitarist for Pygmy Love Circus), who have been playing together and playing around with the idea of a fusion band for some time.
So, they enlisted two other fine musicians: Jeff Babko (keyboards) and Lance Morrison (bass).
They all can play and have mega-chops, but these are relatively compact performances, running from about 5 to about 9 minutes each and are definitely on the tasteful side! So, they learned well from their heroes. Easily recommended to fusion fans. Recorded all analog and mastered by Bob Ludwig, so it sounds good too!
