Who - At Kilburn 1977 : 2 x DVDs

SKU 21-IMAGE5145
This is two DVDS of previously unreleased material by one of the greatest rock band of the 1960s. The 1977 Kilburn show was filmed by Jeff Stein for his great Who film "The Kids Are Alright" and a bit of it appears in that movie, but this is the complete concert performance, remixed and remastered in surround sound. This was the last-ever performance by The Who with Keith Moon. The second disc is worse quality but even better, as it captures during their five year peak (1965-1970) at the London Coliseum in 1969 and is the only full-length performance on film of the band in that period that I know of. Includes the complete Tommy and more. But I know some of you are still asking, "Why is this here"? Because I say so!

This is a great set ...the 1977 footage has the band in full flight and mad as hell at each other (which drives the music to great intensity),the 1969 footage is of lesser visual quality, but has some great performances too. Was the 1969 footage added for extra value ,just in case you didn't feel the anger/energy in the first DVD? Who knows ,...but we all win with this DVD!
