Seems hard to believe now, when his musical presence is one of the strongest coming out of the Japanese new-music scene, with the many projects he is a member of, such as Ruins, Koenjihyakkei, Korekyojin, Satoku Fuji and much more, but there was a time when Yoshida was basically an unknown. This 1991 album was his very first solo album, and I remember getting it, hearing it, liking it and wondering who the hell this obviously Magma-inspired guy from Japan was. Now we all know! Tatsuya plays all instruments (keyboards, guitars, bass, drums and vocals) and the sound is pretty much the Magma-inspired vibe you would expect. I don't know what Magaibutsu means in Japanese, but it obviously means something to him, as he named his own label after it.
