"The newest release in the history of sci-fi legend Michael Moorcock and his Deep Fix music project is now available. This CD presents demo recordings of vocal and instrumental pieces based on two of Moorcock's
well-known novels: THE ENTROPY TANGO and GLORIANA. These sessions include vocals and unexpected crafty guitar work by Moorcock, along with the virtuosity of Pete Pavli -- who plays cello, bass, mandolin, and
other instruments. Fiction writer Langdon Jones also appears, playing piano on one track. The material on this CD was originally planned for
release on the United Artists label, or BBC presentation, but stopped when Moorcock put the Deep Fix on hold. After years in the vault, Noh Poetry is proud to present the first official release of these sessions -- in their original form, as the Deep Fix wrote and rehearsed them.
Leading Science Fantasy author Michael Moorcock enjoyed a long collaboration with Space Rock kings Hawkwind. eventually forming his own outfit The Deep Fix. In 1975, an album New Worlds Fair was released. It became an essential release for Hawkwind, Moorcock, and Science Fantasy fans. A second album Roller Coaster Holiday was issued in 2004. CD liner notes include a recent interview of Mike Moorcock by Spirits Burning's Don Falcone. Fans of Moorcock will be interested to read a new take on his musical career."
