In 1991/1992, progressive rock fans, who had not had much to cheer about for a very long time, were treated to the one-two punch out of Sweden of the debut albums by Anglagard and Anekdoten.
Anekdoten arrived fully formed as a quartet of guitars, mellotron, cello, bass, drums, & voice. Chaneling Red / Starless-era Crimson, this is Krimson-ish, heavy prog with it's own sound. Very strong, self assured & totally in the ''classic'' mold, without being moldy! Fans of that sound will love this.
This deluxe edition includes the very high quality, outtake track, ''Sad Rain'' on CD one and on CD two you get never-before released demos from 1990-93 of all of Vemod PLUS Sad Rain PLUS two more tracks.
