In the early 70s, there was a teriffic early jazz/rock band called Association P.C. formed by Dutch and German musicians in 1969 and which is considered one of the very earliest (maybe the earliest) continental European jazz/rock groups.
They put out 4 very good to excellent MPS/BASF albums between 1972-1974, but they are little remembered today because only their last (and weakest) album has ever been reissued on CD.
But what I found out in the last few years is that in 1970, they released this, their first album, under the name Association for a small Dutch label and this is its first-ever release vinyl reissue!
This is a surprisingly wild and rowdy electric jazz outing for 1970; they were not tentively mixing styles, they were grabbing them and shaking them down. Recommended.
