“Astrë was a progressive rock band from Oklahoma that existed from 1978 to 1984, although they were best remembered for the classic trio lineup that was active in 1981-1983 and that recorded their only record.”
This was a ELP - styled progressive rock album, which was stylistically outside the time it was released (1982).
It’s a low budget production and recording and those qualities don’t do this album any favors, but musically it’s a pretty solid, straightforward, late-period, progressive rock offering.
