This is to Asturias what the great acoustic version of Orme [Florian! Piccola Rapsodia dell’Ape!] was to Orme. Very nice stuff.
“In 1987, the progressive block unit "Asturius" started by composer Great Thanday as a place to pursue his music. It has been recognized as one of the leading progressive block units of Japan in Japan and abroad.
"Acoustic Asturius" was formed in 2003 by gathering performers in the classic field. With an anomalous indoor music formation such as piano, violin, clarinet, and gut guitars, we have released 3 albums to date and have been performing 3 times overseas performances and major debut from Avex.
In 2022, the first Acoustic Asturius has been completed and renewed their members. We have reclaunched the piano, violin, cello and gut guitar, but the addition of the Cello has gained a high reputation for songs and playings with more deeper things.
And this time we released the long-awaited 4th album in October 2024. The album title contains 9 songs that represent "Somewhere not Here" in a quiet and compassion, sometimes vigorous thrilling and contrasting movement with acoustic Asturius world feeling. The main theme of the popular game "Late Night" is also included in a new arrangement. Gauguin Paintings "Where we come from who we did and where do we go? This is a masterpiece that is full of listening.”
