“Only recently did we learn that Eric Delaunay Started his musical career in the early 1970s with Camizole. So, that he did an experimental fusion album eight years before he debuted as the drummer in Tiemko is no longer surprising, although the lineage of Camizole to Tiemko is an unsual progression.
Now, the most surprising thing about ANTAGONISME! is that it came out on the major label Vogue in 1980 yet remained unknown for many decades. An exceptionally creative prog and fusion mixture from a drums, guitar, keyboards and bass quartet, the six tracks all vary in mood somewhat, opening in a fiery fusion mode, diverting to soft symphonic keyboards, and then in very unusual directions, later exploring a style not too far from Shylock or Artcane. In all, it's a great one that’s well worth seeking out.” - Twilight of the Alchemists
“After this album, none of the other members resurfaced again, beyond Delaunay himself. He later formed Tiemko and one can easily hear his songwriting and approach being applied. Especially on their debut Espace Fini, but with more modern equipment (for better or worse).” - rym
