“One of the best UK psych albums. Perfect balance of psychedelic pop melodicism and tight, aggressive rock. In fact, this album might have the best rhythm section of any psychedelic group at the time (aside from maybe Cream and the Jimi Hendrix Experience). Bassist and drummer duo Hudson and Ford would later find more success with Strawbs...The B-side is slightly better than the A-side with splendid psychedelic confections like the closing track and ‘Dream Starts’, to name only a few.
