A British group originally influenced by Renaissance & English trad folk music, they moved from a unique krumhorn/bassoon filled folk/prog blend firmly into the progressive rock camp while still retaining elements of their earlier sound on this one. I think that Red Queen is probably their greatest work; a unique combination of symphonic rock, renaissance music and folk.
I saw them open for Yes when this album came out and they performed the entire thing and blew my 17-year old self away!!
