The third (and the third superb one) by this Swedish instrumental band who mix up jazz/rock with progressive rock touches. The title track channels the groove of ‘Boogie Woogie Waltz’ with the Kraut fusion sound of Embryo’s Brain era. You get the idea, right?
Four lengthy tracks. Grooves galore, and another really great winner from them. Highly recommended.

“Hooffoot is an instrumental group from Sweden presenting a very LYRICAL and genuinely NEW blend of prog/kraut/jazz/rock. The first album struck like a bolt from the blue in 2015 and by some acclaimed as "debut of the century". The follow up was equally appraised as “bloody bloody great”.
The first two records were a polite knock on the door, saying "excuse us but we think we have something unique here".
Luckily, some people really grasped that. Now, the love from fans have built a strong confidence in the quartet so this time, without pardons, Hooffoot kicks in the door with a total showdown of heavy, melancholic and melodic groove.
The four new long compositions are perhaps the most “song like” so far but there is plenty of risk-taking and fast corners. The live recorded production is again beautifully transparent but slightly heavier than the previous releases.
On two of the tracks you will hear bass clarinet and transverse flute courtesy of the soulful Swedish international jazz star Fredrik Kronkvist (considered one of Europe’s finest alto saxophonists).
If this one passes by unnoticed there is something seriously wrong with the music community of today. If it so turns out, so be it!”
