Ryo Kawasaki was one of the first Japanese jazz musicians to make a name in the USA, releasing a number of albums on RCA in the 70s and playing with heavy hitters of the day (I saw him in late spring 1975 at the Village Vanguard with Elvin Jones).
He was also known for helping to develop the guitar synthesizer in collaboration with Roland Corporation and Korg and he created the Kawasaki Synthesizer for the Commodore 64.
This is an electric fusion release from 1978 and as far as I can tell, not only has it never before appeared on CD, this is its first reissue since its original release on vinyl, in Germany, Japan and The Netherlands only, in 1978!!
