Jerzy Mazzoll is a very well known Polish clarinetist who has spent time since the 90s exploring jazz, ethno and electronic sounds.
The other musicians on this album are the group Arythmic Gong, who are younger players, but with an equally diverse and exploratory bent.
This is somewhat meditative and quiet, while also being somewhat ‘out’; new age it is not.
“We build textural, meditative ambience combining variety of instuments from different cultures. Our music is fusion of far east tones of gongs, singing bowls or tablas with contemporary jazz and rock tones of bass, double bass, clarinets, complemented with electronic synthesizer.”
