This is the first two (and by far the only ones truly worth owning) albums by this early 70s German / English band, which also features bonus tracks!
“This was a German-British band led by Allan Murdoch. The story of Message is quite similar to that of Nektar; in the early 70s, they released some excellent, refined, progressive rock albums, spanning from lyrical folk-rock over to guitar outbursts.
Their music was supervised by the well-known Bacillus recording team of Peter Hauke and Dieter Dierks. The crew that recorded The Dawn A New Is Coming (1972) was

Only the rhythm section was German!
Taff Freeman from Nektar contributed with vocals and mellotron on one track. Overall it was an excellent album.
From Books and Dreams (1973) was another fine album; here some of the tracks had a more sinister undertone, like the pounding Dreams and Nightmares, with its repeating, almost ritualistic guitar riff. On the other side, tracks like Sigh followed more in the Nektar-like style of their first album.” - Cosmic Dreams At Play
