“‘Parallel or 90 Degrees’ was the main vehicle for progressive rock songsmith Andy Tillison prior to forming ‘The Tangent’ in 2002.
During the late 1990s, five studio albums were released but the first three were predominantly just Andy.
After revisiting said albums, Andy decided that he would like to ‘polish’ some of his favourite tracks and thus ‘aftersometimelater’ was born.”
“The original 3 Po90 albums were recorded exclusively on computers at home in a time when computers were nowhere near as good at doing that as they are now. I have always wanted to revisit them and make better versions that I, and my fans, can enjoy more. Some of the tracks are more or less faithful to the originals and some are re-imagined versions.
This took longer to make than any Tangent recording because, as I discovered, learning how to play my own compositions 30 years later was a lot more difficult than I had anticipated.” - Andy Tillison
