In 1977/78, within a short time of leaving Soft Machine, Mike Ratledge built a studio and composed music for two ‘art films’, one of them being this film soundtrack, which which utilised a prototype synthesizer which he constructed with his friend Denys Irving [the short, original credits only say: Written & produced by Mike Ratledge on equipment designed by Denys Irving].
This is long-lost, excellent, Terry Riley-esque / Out-Bloody-Rageous-esque intro/outro music that I had long heard about but never heard until this vinyl release. Hugely recommended.

Some tracks feature the hypnotic voice of Mary Maddox as taken from the film itself. Very minimal and somewhat sad, very dreamy and exciting at the same time. Can't recommend enough!” - Discogs
