“Ukraine, really? This actually sounds like coming from the United Kingdom or maybe Scandinavia! Anyway, SEALAND AIRLINES is another newcomer band where you will suppose that the four involved musicians already are born with the prog in their DNA. That means here we have a prolific debut which shines with multi-varied compositions showcasing a range from Tame Impala psych pop over to Kraut resemblance and heavy art rock. Hereby the album cover mirrors their affinity to the 1970/80 years quite well. They practically must have absorbed manifold impressions and now have successfully re-arranged those influences. Bassist and main vocalist Artem Bemba has provided the song lyrics here. What is also noticeable quite quickly, Andrii Davydenko offers some spellbinding keyboard and synth contributions. Now I'll take the liberty to highlight Railway Man with its slicing guitar and tricky Hammond organ. Furthermore the powerful rhythm section with Iurii Khomik on the drums, awesome tempo changes, what a fantastic album excerpt! Some Pink Floyd reminscence wrapped in The Danger. Krautrock affine synths and percussion drive regarding Sailing Girl. Compelling groove, the Jethro Tull flute in between, Mykhailo Kanafotskyi's excellent guitar appearance, Salia Ana - whatever the title means - really makes my day.
While offering psychedelic progressive rock with retrospective flair in the vein of The Shaman Elephant, Hypnos 69, Moonwagon the album exudes a good dose of lightness and positive attitude. Don't just pass it over. Excellent lift-off for the SEALAND AIRLINES staff, four stars well deserved!” - ProgArchives
