"This is not a studio album. As the concluding third part of the Solaris archive series, it contains important recordings for us: demos and cassette concert recordings that we have preserved to remind us of where we started.
The story of this album begins in 1984 after the release of "Marsbéli Krónikák I," and ends in 1990 with the release of the double album titled 1990.
It includes that certain rejected demo recording, the lengthy suite titled "Los Angeles 2026," which we made with a cassette recorder about forty years ago, and a similarly long electronic music track that we only played once, at the farewell concert of Solaris (this was our last joint composition, that’s why it’s titled "The Last One. "
These materials obviously don’t sound like a studio recording should. It’s no coincidence that the cover of each part of the Archive series bears the label "Official Bootleg."
However, this music preserves for us that period, which was perhaps the most important in our story. May you too listen to it this way."
