Nice to see this finally appear. I say ‘finally’, because this DVD was paid for by Cuneiform in 2009 and was supposed to be the 2nd disc of ‘Clivage’ in 2010; the money was paid but the master we paid for was never supplied.
Later, there were discussions that it was going to be the 2nd disc of the remixed Ceux du Dehors, but by then I no longer trusted Daniel Denis enough to front the money asked for for Ceux. Because of this, along with other thoroughly disappointing reasons, we stopped working with the band and the DVD disappeared for nearly 15 years.
This was a great live edition of the band and it’s wonderful that their power and poise as a live outfit is finally captured visually for the many folks who love them and never were able to see them.

“In 2009, the Triton venue (near Paris, France) was sold out to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Univers Zéro, an iconic band of the Rock In Opposition movement. These two exceptional concerts highlighted a radical and unique style of music, at the crossroads of new music and chamber rock, skillfully blending acoustic and electric instruments.
They offered an intense multimedia show, intertwining a condensed version of key pieces from the repertoire with more recent compositions. What's going on here? How can I write a review of something I've never heard and hasn't been released yet? What's going on here?

What's wrong with these guys? They got all their records put out by Cuneiform and this is the thanks you get? And why isn't this on Cuneiform, since it took 15 years for the master that was paid for to materialize?

I'm officially changing their name to (Univers) Zero Gratitude, and giving this (Univers) Zero stars. -T.A.
