"Affirm, who prviously released albums under the name Bayley and Hunt (Clive Bayley: Vocals, Guitars, Bass, Keyboards and Max Hunt: Vocals, Keyboards, Guitars, Bass, Drums/Percussions) is the association of two members of the group Fragile that we have reviewed on several occasions. 'One More Moment' follows 'Whispers' released in 2020.
Affirm is a very nice formation, which traces its path through the meanders of a melodic and symphonic progressive rock of beautiful craftsmanship. This album shows a flawless melodic assurance and a serenity that we can only appreciate.
No thunderous technical demonstration, just melodies finely chiseled by instruments that envelop them and enhance them more than they suffocate them. In summary, eleven compositions of well-crafted progressive rock playing enthusiastic music, but never presumptuous.
Get an idea of this excellent album by listening to the opening title 'Overflowing', a true condensed version of their music or the symphonic and melancholic 'Where Are You Now'. Affirm Bayley and Hunt deliver with 'One More Moment' a remarkable album!"-Progcritique 2022
