“Being tired of demanding tours, Burnin Red Ivanhoe decided to disband in spring 1972. Before this they recorded 'Miley Smile/Stage Recall' during an eight hour session live in the studio on 16/4/1972. Apart from a short rendition of 'Ivanhoe I Brondbyerne' from the first album 'M144', all material was fresh from their current tour programm including some never before released titles. This album underlines the band's perfect live play abilities, the exceptional skills of the musicians playing their instruments.
For more than 2 years this was the band's last recording, as Karsten Vogel started a new band with new musicians: the also highly appreciated Secret Oyster.
