This is a really great and spirited performance with a bit more "edge" than the album....the band really goes "out" on some solos, but nothing as "out" as "Ascension" (so it's NOT skronk). The sound has hardly a sound from the audience....so I was surprised to see it listed as an audience recording. It , to me , sounds like it was recorded from the stage edge. This is clear and dynamic with great solos ....and I think it's a dream come true to be able to hear this . This must be just like being there. Who could ask for more?
