Eiliff - Girlrls! (expanded) vinyl lp (due to size and weight, this price for the USA only. Outside of the USA, the price will be adjusted as needed)

SKU 26-LHC 152
First-time reissue on vinyl.

Eiliff were a very excellent, early, mostly instrumental jazz rock band, somewhat influenced by the Mothers Of Invention, Soft Machine & their own "krautrockness".

Featuring guitar, keyboards (Rainer Bruninghaus, later to go on to play with Eberhard Weber's Colours!), sax, bass & drums, they released just 2 albums in their lifetime. This one, recorded in March and April, 1972, was the second of the two, which were both originally released on Phillips.

All the players are really good, but I especially like guitarist Houschang Nejadepour, who worked with Eiliff, and then for a very short while with Guru Guru and then disappeared!

This excellent reissue also adds their non-lp single! It doesn't get much better than this when it comes to adventurous and wacky Germany jazz/rock, and this comes highly recommended!
