Suddenly there are a good number of really great spacerock bands out there and Litmus is absolutely one of the best of them. This is the second album by this UK spacerock band heavily influenced by Hawkwind's classic early/mid 70s albums. This thing out-Hawkwinds even the classics like Space Ritual and In Search of Space; it's extremely enjoyable and it really delivers the goods. Everything is spot-on; the vocals, the synths, the guitars - the only thing missing is that they don't have a sax player. If they did, you would be certain that this was the lost studio album between In Search of Space and Doreimei... Recommended!
