Moose Loose were an excellent, instrumental jazz/rock rock band that only lasted a few years and produced two albums in 1974 and 1976.
This is an amazing archival discovery in excellent sound that – for me – blows their two (quite good) studio albums away. Eberson and Blix just tear it up. If you like 70s electric jazz, this is a must-own.

“In 1973, the then unknown band Moose Loose played their first concert at the Kongsberg Jazz Festival on Saturday 30 June 1973.
When they were introduced on stage, the emcee said: "They wouldn't characterize their music themselves, but we can probably say that they play a form of rock...jazz". He also came with a warning: "The music can get a bit strong, so those who can't handle it should move a bit backwards".
This is a recording from Kongsberg Jazzfestival's archives and is published in collaboration with the festival.
The recording has very good sound!”

Jeez, I got stuff to do, and this comes in the mail. Really good players that are confident enough in themselves and each other to take every song out on a limb and come back down to land gracefully. If the Fender Rhodes dates it a bit, it still holds up. And that's why I've still got shit to do, man.
