For this release, Roger mainly acts as musical director, composing & arranging all the works, but allowing the band (Reginald Trigaux-guitar, Pierre Chevalier- piano, Keith Macksoud-bass & Dave Kerman-drums + guest cello) to perform almost all of it.
The compositions (two major extended works & a couple of shorter tracks) are basically all pretty magnificent & really stick with you, & while the great majority of this is instrumental, this is still probably his darkest work on both a musical & thematic level.
Additionally, this is probably the most Zeuhl- influenced release by them, as Keith sets up some pretty amazing bass-riffage, reminsicent of Janick Top on Udu Wudu! Highly recommended!
This new, Japanese edition has been worked on by original recording and mastering engineer Udi Koomran for what he has said is an improved sound experience.
Additionally, two bonus live tracks, taken from the Barbaro DVD are added to the CD.
