Co-led by the great guitarist Jan Akkerman and keyboardist Thijs Van Leer, Focus are the best known Dutch progressive rock band. Ship Of Memories is a collection of outtakes, mostly recorded between Focus III and Hamburger Concerto. While the outtake nature of the album means that this obviously should not be where you start, this is still really quite good, and fans will not be dissapointed.
